Let’s get started with some basics before you start sending off your resume all scatter-shot and it falls to the bottom of the stack.
First, Wacko’s busiest season is Christmas. That must come to you as a big shock, right? We typically look to hire talented staff throughout the year, but the greatest time to send us your information is right after Halloween.
This provides our management enough time to begin searching through the resumes, choose those that stand-out, and start the process of calling back potential candidates.
We do want to mention that we strongly discourage calling the store directly to inquire about your resume’s status. This action, unfortunately, will overwhelm our phones during normal business hours and will disqualify you from consideration. If you have questions, please visit us in-store and request to speak to someone from our management staff.
We are not currently hiring, but you can email, snail-mail, or leave a resume with our management staff at your convenience. Please, feel free to include a cover letter and highlight your customer service, art gallery, or retail experience. We will keep your resume on file for future consideration.
